"Moths" Quote

Mandy is... much more sensitive... of the life of other living creatures... than myself. She was lamenting over the seemingly doomed fate of the worms inside mexican jumping beans that were being sold in plastic cases. She asked if they stayed in the beans forever, the clerk replied that most of them would die but some would make it to their adult moth form. This did not ease Mandy's distress though, thus the quote. I told her there was nothing stopping her from releasing the moths into the wild once they emerged from the beans, but she still did not approve of them "being tortured by humans all their lives."
